We will improve your outlook on life

Dr. Arnold L. Isaacson has been providing foot and ankle care in Jefferson Valley and surrounding areas for more than 25 years and is one of Westchester and Putnam Counties' most experienced podiatrists. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center, where he was chief resident.  Dr. Isaacson became a clinical and surgical instructor to podiatric residents at the LAC-USC Medical center. Earlier in his career, he was an attending physician for the Baja Project for Crippled Children in Mexico. He and other doctors volunteered their time and expertise to provide clinical and surgical care to thousands of impoverished children with lower extremity disorders. He is a DPM board-certified podiatrist, and has been in private practice in Westchester County since 1985.

Dr. Isaacson has developed a large referral base from families and physicians in the Westchester and Putnam County areas. Patients are seen from all of Northern Westchester, including Yorktown, Cortland, Peekskill, Shrub Oak, Somers, Croton, Ossining and Katonah, as well as all of Putnam County, including Mahopac, Putnam Valley and Garrison.

Rely on Jefferson Valley Podiatry to offer you conservative, quality care for your foot and ankle condition.

Practice Philosophy:

Dr. Isaacson applies a conservative approach to the management of his patients, combining the latest treatment plans with his own gentle and compassionate medical techniques. The policy of Dr. Isaacson and his staff is that surgery is never recommended until all options for conservative treatment have been exhausted. Adequate time is allocated to all new patients so that the nature of the condition and treatment options can be explained in detail, x-rays/imaging can be reviewed and all questions may be answered.

Treatment plans are based on each individual patient's medical needs, as well as work and family obligations and financial considerations. The office strives to see all patients at their scheduled appointment times. The treatment experience is further enhanced by a staff that is always courteous and helpful. Every possible effort is made to schedule same-day appointments, or ASAP evaluations, to accommodate urgent medical matters and painful conditions.

Dr. Isaacson has elected not to participate in a large group or institutional practice, and instead provides care in a small, private office setting. He believes that this independence allows him to spend more time with his patients, without the impersonal nature of a large group setting. The patient's health care experience is more positive as a result, and quality care is delivered with an attention to detail.

Dr. Isaacson is a board certified podiatrist who treats injuries and diseases of the foot and ankle to ensure you a better quality of life.
